Singular Perturbation and Small-Signal Stability for Inverter Networks

چکیده
This article examines small-signal stability of electrical networks composed dominantly three-phase grid-following inverters. We show that the mere existence a high-voltage power flow solution does not necessarily imply stability; this motivates us to develop framework for analysis systematically acknowledges inverter dynamics. identify suitable time-scale decomposition dynamics, and using singular perturbation theory, obtain an analytic sufficient condition verify stability. Compared alternative performing eigenvalue full-order network our reduces computational complexity yields insights on role topology constitution as well inverter-filter control parameters in Numerical simulations radial validate approach illustrate efficiency conditions designing monitoring grid-tied networks.
